The name Greenchip was named after computer circuit boards which are also called green
computer chips.
The founder of this company is Anthony David Farah who has 11 years experience in the E Waste
business as the Managing Director and co-founder of Caribbean Tech Disposals Ltd using the back of
his office building to start that same business in 2006.
During this tenure Anthony led the team in the disposal of E Waste for Government agencies, banking
institutions, the retail sector, education etc. examples are Massy Technologies, Republic Bank Ltd,
FLOW, IBM Worldwide, Prestige Holdings, Courts, Ansa Mc Al Group.
As you may know, used and obsolete electronic equipment (including computers, printers, toners, TVs,
DVD players etc.) are now deemed as Hazardous Waste and will no longer be accepted into the country's
landfills.
